About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JNKI (Jurnal Ners dan Kebidanan Indonesia) (Indonesian Journal of Nursing and Midwifery) abbreviated JNKI (p-ISSN 2354-7642 and e-ISSN 2503-1856) is the journal of nursing and midwifery published by Department of Nursing and Department of Midwifery, Faculty of Health Sciences, Alma Ata University in collaboration with AIPNI (Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia), AIPKIND (Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Bidan Indonesia), PPNI (Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia), and IBI (Ikatan Bidan Indonesia). JNKI will be one of vehicles for developing and updating science of nursing and midwifery. The journal is published three times a year (March, June, September and December) and receives manuscript in the field of nursing and midwifery from various circles that have never been published. Scripts can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Editorial team will analyze and select text manuscript that will be published after receiving the results of the evaluation of the Review Team. Editors have the authority to refuse, to accept or to ask the author to revise the manuscript has been sent.

 

This journal publishes original articles and literatur review on the latest international issues and trends in nursing and midwifery with following focuses and scopes :

  1. Nursing: Management Nursing; Emergency and Critical Nursing; Medical Surgical Nursing; Maternity Nursing; Mental Health Nursing; Pediatric Nursing; Gerontological Nursing; Community Nursing; Family Nursing; Education Nursing; Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Nursing; Fundamental Nursing.
  2. Midwifery: Maternal and Child Health; Pregnancy, Labour, Birth & Postpartum; Fetal Medicine; Newborn, Baby & Child; Breastfeeding; Maternity Care and sociological aspects of pregnancy and childbirth; Adolescence; Family Planning; Reproduction Health; Climacterium; Midwifery Community; Education in Midwifery; Complementary Therapy in Midwifery; Holistic Care in Midwifery.

Peer Review Process

The article submitted to this journal will be blind peer-reviewed at least  by 2 (two) reviewer. The reviewer will be selected by Editors based on the same area of interest with the submitted article. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to Reviewer’s comments. Plagiarism detection of articles in this journal is carried out by using Small Seo Tools.

Journal History

JNKI (Jurnal Ners dan Kebidanan Indonesia) (Indonesian Journal of Nursing and Midwifery) was established in 2013. Since the first issue in 2013, it has been published three times annualy consistently and continuously, covering a wide range of nursing and midwifery subject.

All articles and issues in Jurnal Ners dan Kebidanan Indonesia have unique DOI number registered in Crossref.

In 2017, english version name of this journal changed into Indonesian Journal of Nursing and MidwiferyÂ
