Author Guidelines

JNKI (Jurnal Ners dan Kebidanan Indonesia), also known as the Indonesian Journal of Nursing and Midwifery (abbreviated JNKI), accepts manuscripts covering a wide range of topics in the fields of nursing and midwifery. Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Authors are required to read the editorial policy and publication ethics prior to submission and are encouraged to follow appropriate reporting guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.

GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Manuscripts submitted to JNKI must be original works that have not been previously published, submitted, or posted in any other media. Manuscripts that have been presented at scientific meetings must be clearly stated as such in a footnote.

A manuscript should include the following components: title, authors’ names, authors’ affiliations and addresses, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions and recommendations, acknowledgements (if applicable), and references. Detailed provisions can be found in the Guidelines of Writing section.

Each manuscript is blindly reviewed by at least one (1) peer reviewer. Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are based on the reviewer’s report and recommendations. Manuscripts that are not accepted for publication will not be returned to the authors unless requested. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted promptly. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their articles.

All manuscripts must be submitted online through the JNKI Editorial Office at:
