PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PELAJARAN IPA KELAS IV MI MIFTAHUL HUDA SUBANG JAYA
Abstract
Based on a pre-survey conducted at MI Miftahul Huda Subang Jaya, student learning outcomes are still low. This is caused by several factors, one of which is learning which is still teacher-centred. In the learning process, students often listen and take notes on the material delivered by the teacher and the methods used by the teacher are less varied, resulting in students being less active and involved in the learning process. To overcome this problem, researchers applied the Mind Mapping learning model in the science learning process. The formulation of the problem in this research is "The Influence of the Mind Mapping Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Science Lesson Students at MI Miftahul Huda Subang Jaya?". This research aims to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning model on the learning outcomes of students in Class IV Science at MI Miftahul Huda.
The method used in this research is a quantitative method with the type of research used is One Group Preetest – Posttest Design. The population in this study were all class IV students at MI Miftahul Huda Subang Jaya, totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the normality test with the Liliefors test, homogeneity test with the Fisher test, N-Gain test, and hypothesis testing with the t test.
Based on the analysis of research results and discussion of pretest data, it shows that 7 students completed while 13 students did not complete, then after using the Mind Mapping learning model for science learning, the posttest results of student completion increased to 20 students and based on the results of the research data, the results of the hypothesis test showed tcount = 7.2684 > ttable = 2.0243, so tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Mind Mapping learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV science subjects at MI Miftahul Huda Subang Jaya.
