Retraction Policy

Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah Indonesia (JESI) is committed to upholding the integrity of the scholarly record. A published article may be retracted under the following circumstances:

  • There is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, whether due to scientific misconduct (e.g., data fabrication, falsification) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation, flawed experiment).
  • The findings have been previously published elsewhere without appropriate citation, permission, or justification (redundant publication).
  • The article contains plagiarized content.
  • The research reported in the article involves unethical practices, including lack of informed consent or violation of research ethics standards.

The retraction process will follow the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which can be accessed at: Retraction Guidelines

All retracted articles will remain available online with a clear watermark or notice indicating the retraction status and the reason for retraction.
