Manuscript guideline

  1. The article submitted in JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia) is an article result of study or ideas in the field of Islamic economics, Islamic banking, and Islamic finance.
  2. The title, with a maximum of 8 -15 words, it should attract the readers attention and should clearly reflect the main theme, issue or position discussed in the article. Format: Book Antiqua, 12 font size, 1 spacing line,
  3. Authors name typed under the title of the article and without listing any degree, if the author is more than on person, then the next line is added.
  4. Institutions name, written on behalf of the institution by listing the name of university, faculty, and program study, ex: Alma Ata University, Economic and business faculty, Islamic economic program study.
  5. E-mail address, write an active email which is based on the institutions name.
  6. Abstract, written in English languages. Abstract contents short brief description of the problem, purpose study, methodology, and result. Abstract should emphasize on the result.
  7. Keywords, number of keyword between 3 - 5 words
  8. The structure elements listed in research writing are, introduction, Methods, results, discussion, conclusion and bibliography.
  9. The structure of an academic article reporting are, introduction, discussion (cab be divided into several sub-sections) finding, conclusion and bibliography. 

Citation and references guideline

  1. The authors are encouraged to cite the article from JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia), all citation presented in article which taken from other author’s article must include the references source. References should use apps such as Mendeley, End Zero, or Zotero.

APA (American Psychological Association) Style and note-taking techniques are applied in the writing format used in JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia)

  1. All references used in the article should be listed in this section. The references used must be taken from the main source (scientific journal and at least 40% of all references) published in the last ten years. Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non - scientific sites are not allowed for references. Each article should have at least ten references.
