The Author's guideline
Manuscripts
Manuscripts must be original research papers that make a significant, novel contribution to the economics literature. Authors are required to submit their papers electronically using the JESI online submission procedure. The Editorial Board will not process submissions that do not follow this procedure.
Manuscript guideline
- The article submitted in JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia) is an article result of study or ideas in the field of Islamic economics, Islamic banking, and Islamic finance.
- The title, with a maximum of 8 -15 words, it should attract the readers attention and should clearly reflect the main theme, issue or position discussed in the article. Format: Book Antiqua, 12 font size, 1 spacing line,
- Authors name, typed under the title of the article and without listing any degree, if the author is more than on person, then the next line is added.
- Institutions name, written on behalf of the institution by listing the name of program study, faculty, university, university adress, and country, ex: Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Alma Ata, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
- E-mail address, write an active email which is based on the institutions name.
- Abstract, written in English languages. The abstract contains a brief description of the objectives, methodology, results, conclusions, implications, and originality. It must highlight the research findings. Maximum is 250 words in total.
- Keywords, number of keyword between 3 - 5 words
- Introduction. This section explains the background of the study, a review on the previous researches in the area, and aims of the manuscripts. Importantly it should also show the significance and novelty of the research.
- Literature Review and Hypothesis. This section outlines the relevant literature and the formulation of hypotheses, aligning them—concisely and clearly—with key theories (*grand theories*) and relevant findings from prior research.
- Methodhology. This section describes the appropriate tools of analysis along with the data and their sources.
- Results and Discussion. This section explains the results of the study. It should be presented clearly and concisely. In discussion section, Author(s) should relate the research findings with the novelty or the contribution of the work to the business and management literature.
- Implication. In this section, Author(s) must give managerial implications related to the research findings.
- Conclusion and Reccomendation. This section concludes and provides policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusion(s) should be at the same order with ones discussed in the body of the manuscript. The recommendations are addressed to future researchers and others.
- Anknowledge (if any). Authors can express their thanks to individuals or organizations who have helped them a lot.
Citation and references guideline
- The authors are encouraged to cite the article from JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia), all citation presented in article which taken from other author article must include the references source. References should use apps such as Mendeley, End Zero, or Zotero.
APA (American Psychological Association) Style and note-taking techniques are applied in the writing format used in JESI (Journal of Islamic Economic Indonesia)
- All references used in the article should be listed in this section. The references used must be taken from the main source (scientific journal and at least 10% of all references) published in the last ten years. Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non - scientific sites are not allowed for references. Each article should have at least ten references.
