Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pada fase praoperatif, pasien akan mendapatkan stressor yang dapat memicu munculnya ansietas praoperatif. Ansietas apabila tidak tertangani dengan baik akan berubah dari respon normal diri menjadi sebuah gangguan keansietasan. Pendidikan kesehatan praoperatif berperan penting dalam mempersiapkan pembedahan pasien dan dapat membantu menurunkan ansietas pasien praoperatif. Penggunaan video merupakan salah satu strategi dalam memaksimalkan pendidikan kesehatan praoperatif. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi pendidikan kesehatan praoperatif oleh perawat terhadap ansietas pasien praoperatif. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental: one group pretest-posttest. Sebanyak 36 pasien yang akan menjalani operasi besar direkrut sebagai responden dengan metode accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner demografi dan kuesioner The Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety dan Information Scale (APAIS). Analisa data menggunakan paired sample t test. Hasil Penelitian: terdapat pengaruh intervensi pendidikan Kesehatan praoperatif menggunakan video oleh perawat terhadap tingkat ansietas antara kelompok pretest dan posttest secara signifikan. Dibuktikan dengan hasil uji paired sample t test dengan nilai (p = 0,000). Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan praoperatif menggunakan video memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat ansietas pasien praoperatif.
