PERANCANGAN WEBSITE SEKOLAH SEBAGAI MEDIA PENYEBARAN INFORMASI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE WATERFALL PADA MA AL-FADLLIYAH
Abstract
In the current digital era, educational institutions require centralized and structured information
platforms to build public credibility and provide easily accessible services. MA Al-Fadlliyah faces
limitations as its information dissemination is still predominantly manual. Although social media has
been utilized, the delivery remains sub-optimal due to fragmented content. This study aims to design
and implement a web-based school profile information system as a centralized medium for public
communication and school data management. System development followed the Waterfall software
engineering model using CodeIgniter 3 framework, PHP, MySQL database, and Bootstrap 5. System
evaluation was conducted in two stages: Black Box Testing for functionality and User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) across five evaluation dimensions involving 117 respondents. The Black Box Testing
results confirmed that all core functional modules operated validly according to specifications.
Meanwhile, the UAT analysis achieved an overall average score of 89.56%, categorized as "Very
Good". The developed website successfully meets the school's functional requirements by providing
effective, fast, and structured information services for MA Al-Fadlliyah.
