Edukasi CERDIK dan Pemeriksaan Tekanan Darah sebagai Upaya Pencegahan PTM di Padukuhan Kanggotan, Bantul

Penyakit tidak menular (PTM), khususnya hipertensi, tetap menjadi beban kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan karena kontribusinya yang besar terhadap angka kesakitan dan kematian. Rendahnya literasi masyarakat mengenai faktor risiko dan strategi pencegahan menjadi hambatan utama dalam upaya mengendalikan penyakit-penyakit ini. Kegiatan Pelayanan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang penerapan gaya hidup CERDIK dan menganalisis korelasi antara usia dan tekanan darah. Studi ini dilakukan di Padukuhan Kanggotan, Bantul, melibatkan 50 peserta dewasa hingga lanjut usia. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan edukasi kesehatan secara interaktif yang didukung media presentasi dan brosur, serta pemeriksaan tekanan darah menggunakan tensimeter digital sebagai bentuk skrining klinis. Keberhasilan program dievaluasi melalui pengisian kuesioner sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah (post-test) intervensi untuk mengukur perubahan pengetahuan peserta, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis uji korelasi terhadap data usia dan tekanan darah. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed rank test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah intervensi dengan nilai p-value < 0,001 (p < 0,05). Selain itu, hubungan positif moderat teridentifikasi antara variabel usia dan tekanan darah dengan nilai r= 0,511 dan p-value < 0,001 (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi pendidikan gaya hidup CERDIK dengan skrining kesehatan merupakan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan dan memfasilitasi deteksi dini faktor risiko penyakit tidak menular di tingkat komunitas.
Abstract
Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), particularly hypertension, remain a significant public health burden due to their major contribution to morbidity and mortality rates. Low public awareness of risk factors and prevention strategies is a major obstacle to efforts to control these diseases. This Community Service activity aims to improve public understanding of the implementation of the CERDIK lifestyle and to analyze the correlation between age and blood pressure. This study was conducted in Padukuhan Kanggotan, Bantul, involving 50 participants ranging from adults to the elderly. The implementation stages of this activity included preparation, the delivery of interactive health education supported by presentation materials and brochures, and blood pressure checks using a digital sphygmomanometer as a form of clinical screening. The program’s success was evaluated through pre-test and post-test questionnaires to measure changes in participants’ knowledge, followed by a correlation analysis of age and blood pressure data. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed a significant increase in knowledge following the intervention, with a p-value < 0.001 (p < 0.05). Additionally, a moderate positive correlation was identified between age and blood pressure, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.511 and a p-value < 0.001 (p < 0.05). These findings confirm that integrating the CERDIK lifestyle education program with health screenings is an effective strategy for improving health literacy and facilitating the early detection of risk factors for noncommunicable diseases at the community level.
